Find your path to peace and well-being
Compassionate and effective psychological therapy in a supportive and empathic environment.
I’m Dr. Jess Edelstein — a Licensed Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist with more than 26 years of experience supporting children, teenagers, adults, and families.
My career began on the front lines of the public schools, where I developed a deep, firsthand understanding of the academic, social, and emotional challenges that families face every day.
Today, I bring that experience into my private practice, helping clients manage anxiety, improve communication, and find greater balance at home and at work.
Personalized Therapy for Every Stage of Life
My practice offers individual therapy, family counseling, and mindfulness-based stress reduction tailored to each person’s needs.
Calm, Practical, and Evidence-Based Therapy
My work combines traditional talk therapy with guided mindfulness exercises and meditation practices that help clients reduce reactivity, manage anxiety, and cultivate presence.
The goal isn’t to “fix” you — it’s to help you relate to your thoughts and emotions with more compassion and control, building a steady foundation for long-term mental health.
Your First Therapy Session
Our first conversation is a calm, 50-minute session where we explore what brings you here, what’s worked or hasn’t, and what you hope to change.
We’ll set a small, achievable goal and decide on a pace that feels comfortable — whether that’s weekly or biweekly sessions, in person or through secure telehealth.
Specialized Treatment for Anxiety, Depression, ADHD & Life Transitions
Whether you’re dealing with overwhelming stress or just feeling “off,” therapy can help you regain clarity and calm.
I provide evidence-based, mindfulness-informed therapy for a wide range of mental health concerns, including:
Anxiety & Panic
Do you feel constantly on edge, worried about the future, or experience sudden, overwhelming panic? We work together to identify the triggers and use mindfulness-based tools to regulate your nervous system, helping you find a reliable sense of inner calm.
Depression
If low energy, lack of motivation, and persistent feelings of sadness are weighing you down, we can help you regain momentum. Our focus is on restoring hope, challenging negative thought patterns, and developing positive behavioral habits to help you reconnect with joy and purpose.
ADHD (Adults & Adolescents)
Difficulty with focus, organization, time management, and follow-through can feel incredibly frustrating. We move beyond simple coping strategies to create personalized systems, improve executive function, and build self-compassion for managing daily life.
Bipolar Disorder
Living with the cycles of Bipolar Disorder requires careful, collaborative management. I offer support in tracking mood shifts, developing effective distress tolerance skills, and ensuring stability so you can maintain fulfilling relationships and career goals.
